Career

Reese began her track and field career in high school as a long jumper and triple jumper. 

She was a star athlete in high school who had won many state-level championships.

She continued her passion for jumping even after joining the community college. She also led the basketball team of her college as its captain for two years.

Despite being a successful basketball player, she devoted all her focus to jumping after joining the University of Mississippi.

At the University of Mississippi, she won the NCAA champion title for two consecutive years and turned pro the same year she graduated.

She started her professional career with Nike and tried for the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a pro athlete.

On her very first try, she made it to the national team and competed in the Olympics to finish fifth.

She did great for a first-timer and used it as a motivation to improve herself more.

Reese then used her Olympics experience and worked hard to prove herself as one of the best.

It led her to compete in three more Olympics in the following years.
