Keven A. Dino Conner, popularly recognized as “Dino” to R&B fans; an icon in Houston’s rhythm and blues scene, left us at the young age of 28 (born on 18th November 1974) due to an unfortunate car accident that took his life on 28th January of 2003.
According to the reports made by the Houston police department, Teshya picked Dino Conner up from his recording studio and was driving when their SUV was hit by a truck The truck had run over a red light. One of the three people in the truck, Juan Diaz, was caught later and faced a felony. Keven was in the passenger seat while his fiancee, 22-year-old Teshya Rae Weinsent was driving the car.
Dino’s twin brother Shazam Conner, who was also his bandmate, recorded in his statement that Teshya had picked Dino from the studio.
It was reported that Weistent died at the scene while Dino died en route to the hospital. Moreover, his fiancee was pregnant at the time and their unborn baby also died in the accident.
Three people were present in the SUV who eventually fled from the scene after the accident. Even so, one of the acquaintances named Juan Diaz was subsequently arrested and was charged with felonious charges of failure to stop and render aid.
Dino’s band ‘H-Town’ was named after their hometown and was originally signed under a recording contract by 2 Live Crew’s Luther “Luke” Campbell. The young talent with his two band-mates was hustling between the gangsta rap style of the Ghetto Boys and Scarface and the dance bounce of Destiny’s Child.
H-Town prominently rose to fame with their debut album, ‘Fever for Da Flavor’. The album included their major hit song “Knockin’ the Boots”. The trio then successfully established themselves in the music industry with their unique musicality and became a multi-million-album-selling group within a decade of their musical debut. Additionally, their last album, “Ladies Edition” (LP) was released in 1997.
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle, Dino’s twin brother Shazam and another teammate had mentioned the completion of the H-Town reunion album at the time of Conner’s demise. This was nine years later to their debut and five years since its last release as a group. His band-mates later released their reunion album ‘Imitation of Life” on 12th October 2004. This album would’ve been the 4th album of H-Town.

Teshya was born on November 9, 1980, in Canton, Stark County, OH and she was 22 years old when she died in that car accident on January 28, 2003. She was White by origin, born from a white mom and a white dad.
Her mother’s name was Teresa R Cliff and her father’s name was Jeffry A Weisent.
She was short in stature and she was Keven A. Dino Conner’s fiancee. Teshya was cute and petite, and she had long and beautiful curly hair.
Talking about Teshya, she was even featured in a couple of songs of H-Town including “Day I Die”.
In that accident, she died in the sport instantly as she was also thrown out of the car by the collision. Teshya and Keven landed in a Walgreens parking lot.
Although Teshya was instantly killed, Dino had survived but he was disfigured and was ready to go. He later died on his way to the hospital due to cardiac arrest, which most likely came from the impact.
There was also a rumor that Keven was not going to marry her.

Keven’s legal name was Delando Artez Connerl, but he had changed it to Keven. Previously, Keven Dino had a girlfriend named Jessica. The pair already had a daughter named Kayja Rose. But Keven cheated on her with Teshya Rae and Keven and Jessica separated. Jessica then moved away from him with their daughter.
Now, Jessica is married to Joe Rogan and is known by the name Jessica Ditzel. Joe Rogan adopted Keven and Jessica’s daughter Kayja Rose. Kayja now lives in California and she is a musical artist.
There is also a rumor that Keven had dated another girl named Lisa when he was in Florida. But no other information is available.
A Sad Ending of Teshya Rae’s Fiance Keven
It’s now that Dino did not earn much in his career, yet he was in a lot of debt when he died. His family was on the radio pleading for donations to pay for his funeral. Luke Campbell paid for the funeral, but he did not pay for Dino’s headstone. So, Keven did not get a headstone for a year, but he ended up getting it after one year. Teshya and the R&B legend Keven were buried next to each other in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, TX. R.I.P!
