Axelrod always dreamed of making a career in Hollywood because of her family.

So, when she became an adult, she started acting on both smaller and bigger screens.

She became one of the leading ladies of the late 70s and early 80s. She did several projects like CHIPS, Motel Hell, etc., and even got considered to play Racheal in the 1982 film Blade Runner.
