Nina Kotick Husband and Relationship

Nina was previously married to the CEO of Activision Blizzard, Robert Kotick, but got divorced in 2012. The couple has three kids together.

While Nina worked in the law and order sector, her husband made his career in the technology business.

Her former husband is a business tycoon who established Activision in 1992 and later merged it with Vivendi Games in 2008 to start Activision Blizzard.

Ever since the company started, he has been working as its CEO. He was even on the list of 100 American CEOs who got overly paid.

Besides running Activision Blizzard, Robert also served as the director of Yahoo! For five years till 2008. He has also been serving as one of the board members of the Coca-cola company.

Till 2017, he was the longest-serving head in any public trade technology firm, but this will not continue after Microsoft closes the deal with Activision Blizzard.

Activision Blizzard has been an established video game holding company for years. It owns several popular games like Call of Duty, Candy Crush, World of WarCraft, Heros of the Storms, Starcraft, etc.

However, it lacks data analysis and machine learning, which can get solved with the help of Microsoft. Also, lately, the company has faced server controversies.

The first controversy got raised after news of unpaid royalties and infringed patents came into the media.

While the company was dealing with the first controversy, it got sued for sexual harassment in the workplace by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

After the case got filed, US Scerutiry and Exchange commission carried out an investigation. It led to the dismissal of many employees. The company also lost many of its sponsors.

Though Robert was against selling the company to Microsft, the board pursued the plan to keep the company intact.

The company started talking with the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, last year, but the official announcement came just on the 18th of January of this year.

Robert will be serving as the CEO until the deal is finally closed. Once Microsoft has all control over the company, he will have to resign from his post.

Despite all this, his former wife, Nina, is nowhere to be seen in the picture.

Ever since the divorce, Nina has kept her distance from Robert. In the meantime, Robert publicly dated Sheryl Sandberg, the founder of Leanln.org, from 2016 to 2019.

While Robert is open about his relationships after divorce, Nina has decided to keep her personal life away from the media.
