He worked there for a while before joining a multilevel marketing firm that sold bags of nuts and candies door to door while still in high school.
While working in the company, Khoshbin became the highest earning salesman in his first two months and learned that they were selling the good in bulk at a lower price.
So, he came up with a business idea. He brought cases of nuts and candies at a lower price and repackaged them with new labels, bags, and seals to sell them door to door.
He would often sell his goods to the salesperson working in auto dealerships. Many times, he would even get kicked out of the dealership. People would call him names and make fun of his broken English.
Despite all these, Khoshbin never gave up. Instead, he worked harder and harder every day.
He dropped out of college and did several jobs to achieve his dreams faster. He worked as a mechanic, mortgage dealer, insurance officer, and even as an employee in a dollar store.

After working there for six months, Khoshbin quit starting his mortgage and realty company to ensure his investment in bank-owned and distressed properties.
