It has helped her to earn a good deal of fame and fortune. The athlete has around 1 million to 4 million USD as her net worth.

Height, Weight, and Physical Measurement

The American collegiate record holder has an athletic body with a great height. She stands tall at 5 feet and 8 inches and weighs 81 kgs.

Her intense training and time on the field have also made her body muscular and perfectly toned.

Maggie Malone’s Parents, Personal Life, and Family

Malone was born in College Station in Texas but grew up in Geneva in Nebraska.

She was born to her parents, Danny and Nancy. Besides her parents, her family also includes her brother, Callahan, and sister, Audrey.

The 30 year-old athlete grew up in an athletic family where both of her parents were in sports.

Her father played football for the National University, while her mother was an All-American Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Her mother even qualified for the Olympics in 1979 and was in the hall of fame in Nebraska High school.

Growing up, both of her parents were her school teachers and her coaches in high school.

They taught her and her siblings to enjoy sports. Because of their upbringings, both Malone and her sister turned into javelin throwers.

While still a child, she got into an accident where she chopped her growth plate and broke her femur.

The doctors even told her parents that her leg might not grow because of the accident. But she fought all the odds and became one of the most celebrated American athletes.

Malone initially started her athletic career in the heptathlon as due to safety issues, javelin throw was not in her high school. But this changed after she wiped out a whole women’s softball team of Nebraska Husker.

This incident impressed the coach in her college and paved a new path for her.

Now, Malone is not only an accomplished javelin thrower but also a two-time Olympian.

Maggie Malone Boyfriend and Relationship

The four-time NCAA Division 1 champion has been dating Sam Hardin since 2015.

Like Malone, Hardin is also a track and field athlete specializing in the javelin throw. He is also a two-time All-American athlete who works as a coach.

The couple has a lot in common as both are graduates from Texas A&M University and compete in the same sports.

Education and High School

Malone went to Fillmore Central High school to get her high school degree.

After high school, she got recruited to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was there for two years before transferring to Texas A&M University as her family was moving back to Texas.

She completed her college in Texas with a major in Human resources. While in college, she also took communication and business as her minor.

Career and Olympics

Malone started her athletic career in the heptathlon as there was no javelin throw in her high school.

Even when she got recruited to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she had plans to continue her career as a runner.

However, things changed after a test game of softball. During the game, Malone’s throwing skills impressed her college coach. Her coach then suggested she try the javelin throw.

She took some time to get the hang of it but became good at it once she figured it out.

She represented the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for two years before moving to Texas A&M University.

During her time in Nebraska, she competed in the NCAA Outdoor conference and came in tenth place. She improved with every game and finally won the Big Ten Conference.

Even after moving to Texas, she continued as a javelin thrower and came fourth in the Southeastern Conference Championship.

During this time, she also competed in the trials for the 2016 Olympics. She won the trial game and became the first to win a national and collegiate title in the same year.

She then competed in the 2016 Olympics but couldn’t reach the final as she ended in the twenty-fifth position.

After returning to the USA, she trained harder and competed in many games before trying again for the Olympics.

This time she came in second place during the trial games but reached the finals of the 2020 Olympics.

While competing in Tokyo, she won the qualifying round in Group B but again lost her chance to win a medal as she came in the tenth position.
