Education

William went to Kell high school in Marietta, where she grew up. 

Once high school was over, she enrolled at the University of Georgia. She completed college in 2017 and graduated from there with a degree.

Career

Williams started her career ever since she was in high school. At the early age of sixteen, she took part in the World Youth Championship and won a bronze.

It was just a starting as she kept practicing and then participated in the Pan American Junior Championship, where she won silver. Just after a year of this, she became the World Junior Champion.

It motivated her more to pursue her career in track and field even after joining college. She played for the Georgia Bulldogs during her college days.

During college, she also took part in many championships and won. She became the winner in pentathlon during the SEC indoor Champion two times in a row.

In 2016, she even qualified to represent the USA in the 2016 Olympics, but she came in the seventeenth position.

Despite not winning the gold, Williams didn’t let it stop her from continuing her career as an athlete. She continued to practice even harder than before and received the Honda Sports Award as the best female athlete in track and field.

In the same year, Williams graduated from her college and ended her NCAA career as its four-time in a row winner.

After college, she got sponsorship from Nike and kept being active as a track and field athlete.

She again took part in the heptathlon during the trial games for the second time to achieve her dream of winning gold for her country in the Olympics.

Her hard work paid off as she qualified for the trials in second place and now will compete in the Olympics on the 4th of August. She has improved a lot from her last Olympics and is aiming to bring the gold home.
