Allen attended the Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona, to get his high school degree.

Career and Olympics
Allen started his career as a football player when he was a ten-year-old kid. He started taking football lessons and learned all the tricks and moves after his father enrolled him in football sessions at the tender age of four.
Even in college, he continued playing football as a talented wide receiver. He even had the opportunity to start a professional football career. However, he let that opportunity go and instead focused on building a future on the tracks.
During his college days, he started competing in 110m and 400m hurdles.
He won gold in the NCAA Div I Indoor and USA indoor Championship in 110m hurdles and silver in the 110m and 400m hurdles during the Pac-12 game.
The same year he also won his first National Championship title. He won the same title twice more.
Allen was already an established athlete on the track so, he took it a step further by competing in the 2016 Olympics trials.
He represented the USA in the 2016 Rio Olympics after winning the trial. However, he could not bring any medal back home as he came in fifth place in the final.
Despite not winning any medal, Allen did not give up. Instead, he worked hard, and the very next year, he turned pro by signing with Nike.
He continued giving great performances in many championships before trying again in the trial games for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
