In a statement posted on their Giving Pledge accounts, Scott and her new husband announced their engagement. The Giving Pledge is an initiative that promotes rich people to help the less fortunate.

Jewett recently worked as a science teacher at a private school in Seattle. According to the Washington Post, Scott’s children attend the academy, the duo met there. 

According to a Herald Business Journal post, the couple was frequently seen on campus with their children. Scott allegedly held a 4% stake in Amazon after her divorce from Bezos, and according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index, she is the 22nd richest female on the planet. She is an influential philanthropist. 

Furthermore, Bezos, who is arguably among the world’s richest males, told the Wall Street Journal that he adores Scott and Jewett. Bezos, who is dating TV host and actress Lauren Sanchez, declared his step down from the Amazon CEO position.
