Through his company, Ortner has been introducing the world to tapping. Tapping or EFT(Emotional Freedom Treatment) is a technique that is a mix of traditional medicines and modern psychology. 

During tapping, they tap Chinese medicine meridians and repeat the phrases that identify the pressing issues. Ortner claims that this sends signals to the fright and flight center of the brain and relaxes it.

Ortner claims that tapping is effective against migraines, stress, body pain, phobias, and other conditions. His foundation also claims that they can reduce stress and anxiety by 41% by applying to tap.
